Hello everyone, and thank you for taking a look at my profile! I am an Art Historian, postgraduated at the University "La Sapienza" of Rome. I also obtained a master's degree in Conservation and Restoration at the University "Gregoriana" in Rome. I became a licensed guide of Rome and of the Vatican Museums in 2001. I have also spent some time abroad to improve my language skills. I love both modern and ancient art and archaeology so for me it is not tiring to learn new things that I can later share with travellers! I enjoy art in all its forms, e. g. theatre and ballet, which I practice during my free time. I am in love with my city and its characteristic alleys, where I wander to explore and find secret corners I can take travellers to! My favorite places are Saint Angelo's Castle, where you can feel a marvelous medieval atmosphere, and the Pantheon, the monument symbol of the Imperial Rome. This is our second trip to Rome with the family and we again enlisted the help of Claudia. While we did see some of the same sites in Rome we were able to see other sites and overall made the experience fresh again. Rome is such a wonderful place to visit and Claudia made it that much better! I would highly recommend her!!!
Was a wonder experience with Claudia. She was really good and we got to experience all the highlights of Rome. And history. She was amazing in spite of having experienced the passing of a loved one the night before our first day of tour. And the second day she had to leave us to attend the funeral but made all the arrangements for us to finish with a colleague of hers. Thanks for taking us around Claudia and hugs to you.
Claudia was Awesome... We had 2 days with her and at the end felt she was part of the family! We traveled with our 15 year old twins and her knowledge of history was outstanding. I wish she could guide us all over the world! Thanks Claudia for a Great Experience.
My family, including three teenage children, spent two days touring the highlights of Rome. Prior to the trip, she was very clear and prompt in her communications. Note: she is credentialed to give tours in the various museums which is important--a large number of guides can't do that. She had an excellent itinerary for us to follow -- which included time for coffee and gelato -- the latter important with the kids. She kept everyone engaged! She was fantastic to work with and I highly recommend her!
We could NOT have toured Rome without Claudia. We saved countless hours with her ability and knowledge. She knew all the short cuts, all the great places to eat, and it seemed she knew everyone we came into contact with. She was extremely knowledgeable about the history of Rome and the amazing buildings that remain. I would not hesitate to suggest her services to others or book a tour with her again, she was wonderful!
Claudia was fabulous! We had 2 days in Rome with Claudia and would have liked more. She was very knowledgeable especially about history, art, and food/restaurants as well as being easy to talk to, personable and eager to share her love of Rome. I can't recommend her enough - if you go to Rome, call Claudia! We have used toursbylocals across the world, they are always great, but Claudia is among the best.
