I am an Expat from the United States, I have been blessed to live and guide through this beautiful country called Italy for the past 22 years. My first love and city mastered was the Eternal City of Rome, where I have lived and taught an English Master's program at UET. The University of European Tourism is located outside the Papal walls of Vatican City. I enjoyed teaching and being around the students very much, their youth is contagious. As I've traveled around the entire country, I've discovered the beauty in each region, as well as the wine and culinary wonders. My guiding experience is throughout Italy's Regions, as a National Driver Guide. My areas of expertise include the hillside medieval towns that are nestled in-between the Apennine Mountains. During my tours, I explain the history of Italy and make certain that you have the opportunity to experience all of the local monuments, as well as the iconic art and historical culture. My guiding is based on the TRUE ITALIAN EXPERIENCE. The Slow Food Movement, which they call the zero kilometer touring started in Italy because of how the food is prepared and my tours will take you to taste it all, fresh cheese, the award winning wines and truffle pasta. . . not to mention the limoncello in Sorrento after a day in Pompei. I have been blessed with a gift when it comes to guiding children and the disabled throughout this country. Nothing is a challenge for me and I enjoy seeing each of these places with people who thought they would never get there, life is meant to be lived! Your Rome tour itinerary
We will begin the day where Marcello and Emily say goodbye after an epic day and night of partying in front of the Theatre of Marcellus, an ancient open-air theatre in Rome. We will then visit the Fontana delle Tartarughe (Turtle Fountain) in Via della Reginella, the street where Emily and Mindy walk at night with their ice cream and discuss Mindy's breakup with Nico. Via Della Reginella leads to the square where the Fontana delle Tartarughe is located. End your tour at the Belvedere Terrace (Pincio). Emily and Marcello walk past this panoramic viewpoint, which offers one of the best views of Rome: what a wonderful place to end the fourth season! Enjoy lunch at Trattoria Angelino. The scene where Emily relaxes with an Aperol Spritz and receives a phone call from Sylvie was filmed outside this famous trattoria.
