Take this tour with me and we'll walk together trough the best symbolic places of ancient Rome, discovering all the secrets of gladiators, Roman Emperors and ancient society and how they lived back to 2000 years ago. I was born and raised in Rome and chose to study Art Historian and archaeology to understand deeper to origins of our culture and I'll be happy to share it with you as your private professional and experienced tour guide. We'll cover and visit second ring of the Colosseum, Roman Forum and the Imperial Fora from outside and more. We walk the floor and steps most famous Romans walked, like a time travel. in this 3-hour tour all the important highlights will be included for an educating and enjoyable experience! Meeting at Colosseum •Visit of the Colosseum, going to the second ring where you can admire a panoramic view of the insides of the monuments overlooking the square below, with an overview of the large base and of the remains of the colonnade and the walls of the largest Roman temple dedicated to Venus and Rome. •You will also look at the street of the Imperial Fora on one side and the Arch of Constantine, the Palatine Hill and Via Triumphalis on the other. •Once out of the Colosseum you can admire closer the Arch of Constantine, going towards the Velian Hill, through the Arch of Titus and up to the Palatine Hill one of the most ancient parts of the city. •We will then go to the Roman Forum, the old centre of public life, with the Basilica of Maxentius, the House of Vestals, the Temple of Antoninus and Faustina and the Altar of Caesar. *Can be customized *RESTRICTIONS A metal detector check is compulsory for everyone, so this can cause some queues.
