I started working in the world of tourism by chance and this profession immediately became my passion: what could be better than to show the world you live in, with the enthusiasm and pride it deserves, to do the honors and make the visitor's stay special and unforgettable? I am a tour guide, a tour leader and also an environmental hiking guide in German and English and I live halfway between the sea and the mountain and by mountain I mean THE ultimate one: Mount Etna. It is the highest active volcano in Europe that dominates the sea and also faces the Pearl of the Ionian Sea, nowadays also known as the town of "The White Lotus Hotel", the beautiful Taormina. This union is then magically combined with the artistic wonders that surround us and that offer ever-new insights for experiential and niche tours, always appreciated worldwide. I studied history, art, archeology and geology and I usually guide along the eastern coastline of Sicily, from Messina until Catania. In addition to the "classic itineraries" I can organise different activities like paddleboarding tours along the coastline of Taormina, mountain bike tours, cooking class and street food tours, wine tasting, trekking excursions, off road excursions in jeep and, last but not least, ascending tours up to 3000 meters on Mount Etna, on board of big 4x4 vehicles. My audience is diverse: from groups to individuals, from students to trekking and mountain biking enthusiasts. At the end of each tour I return home happy, because it feels as if I have been out with friends who each time appreciate the enthusiasm, joy and helpfulness that we Sicilians know how to offer to those who visit us. We really enjoyed our Godfather tour with Daniela . We were traveling with our family in a group of 6 people and we are all Godfather fans. It was great to see some of the locations where the films were made. Daniela was so nice and personable and as a local herself , she knew all the local stories about the filming of the Godfather series. I would highly recommend Daniela for any tour. She was so much fun and so informative!

Daniella and our driver, Salvatore were the most enthusiastic, knowledgeable and caring guides. We were searching for information about my husband's grandmother, who once lived in Ali, and Daniella (Salvatore, too) claimed it as their personal mission—calling on mayors, questioning locals and scouring cemeteries. While we didn't find anything concrete, we have many new leads thanks to them. For a day of local history, culture and overall fun, you can't top Daniella!!
