Your Messina tour itinerary
• Begin our tour from Messina port at cruise dock, by a private vehicle we will discover part of highlights of Messina, know as Zancltos in antiquity because of the shape of its natural port. A drive to Ganzirri lakes by the strait where Ulysses navigated in the Odyssey and met the mythological monsters. • back by the center city an overview of the strait of Messina from Christo Re. • Passing some points of interest such as the Church of Annunziata dei Catalani (a remarkable construction of the XII century), the City Hall, aristocratic Palace, the University and The Supreme Court House • Then we will proceed to Piazza Duomo, where we will visit the Cathedral, and the unique and impressive Clock Tower firm of the brothers Ungerer in 1933. The bronze mechanical figures on the main façade start to move everyday at 12 o'clock, just on time in the day! So don’t miss it !! • Back at the port.
