Godfather sites, Etna and Taormina - private tour

What a great day we spent with Ignazio. He was an excellent guide and was so willing explain about any subjects we asked questions about. Our trip to Savoca where Godfather was filmed. It was so much more than just the film but about the town. Then he took us to Forza d'Agro which was a perfect town with beautiful churches and wonderful view of Mt Etna. Our last stop was Taorimina where we had time to eat lunch and walk the town. It seems there was no question he could not answer. Perfect day

It was the most awesome experience. Got us to the Godfather site way before the buses arrived…it was just us and one other couple in there. Perfect…just perfect. We wanted to visit the volcano but when the weather turned bad he took care of us and kept us safe, we were very grateful for that. The place he picked for lunch was phenomenal. Highly highly recommend.

Ignazio was absolutely amazing. He was so knowledgeable about the area and all the history. We spent an entire day with him and he went above and beyond to make us all comfortable and happy.

Great guide and fun person to spend the day with. We asked to change the tour when he picked us up, adding a lunch stop for wine tasting at a vineyard. He worked very hard to find us a spot - every place was booked, but finally found one and worked hard to get us there at the scheduled time. He also tries to avoids the places the busses stop or tries to stop before the busses arrive. It was wonderful to spend the day with a knowledgeable local. Highly recommend him
