This tour takes our client to visit some of the most beautiful spots of Sicily. The first part of the tour is dedicated to explore the beautiful medieval village called Savoca. Francis Ford Coppola decided to use this village as main location for the life of Michael Corleone in Sicicily; the most famous sicilian scenes of this movie (part 1 and 2) were filmed in savoca. The village moreover has some interesting historical beauties: the POentefur Castle, the XII limestone arch, the ancient monastery and more else. The second part of the tour is instead dedicated to explore the beauties on the highest active volcano of Europe, Mount Etna with its more than 11. 000 fts dominates all the surrounding landscapes. During this tour we explore some extinct craters and have moreover the possibility to see and enjoy the forest and the wineyards perched around the slopes of the volcano. Before we take our clients to their final destination, we offer a brief panoramic tour of Messina.
Mario is great both before and during the tour. Answered all my questions and gave great advice to tailor my family's tour. Made our first time in the Catania area pleasant, headache free and the day super fun for our group of 5 and we learned a lot about the things we were seeing. Took us to great spots for both great pictures and great food. Would definitely recommend and use again.
