Hi… buongiorno, my name is Laura! That's how we will start our tour! I am a licensed tour guide in Florence and its province. I was born, raised, married, graduated in Art History and Humanities in Florence and researched as an art historian: here is where I belong! A first-time traveler to Florence? We could start with a walking tour through the ancient squares and streets and/or visit the main museums, like the Uffizi or the Accademia with the David by Michelangelo, and churches. Art, history, food and local traditions are all "ingredients" and part of your experience with me during my tours. If you have already touched base with the Florentine lifestyle, there are many other options and experiences to make, just let me know! The more about your preferences you will tell me about before getting to Florence, the more customized will be your tour with me! I deeply enjoy my work: it's my passion! I love to introduce people to the beauty and culture of Florence, a city on the bucket list of many travelers. Travelling is the one most satisfying experience in life and memories of your trips will last. I'd love to make the most of your time in Florence a memorable and amazing experience! Thanks and looking forward to meeting you soon! Laura - Licensed Tour Guide for Florence and its province - Licensed Tour Leader - MA in Art History - MA in Humanities I am not a driver. I can accompany you in your vehicle or I can arrange for a separate car and driver.

The itinerary is designed to let you enjoy the highlights of both museums! We will first enter the Uffizi Gallery! In this museum, you will discover the masterpieces of Botticelli, Leonardo, Michelangelo, and of many other artists. On the way to the Accademia, we will take some time to enjoy the Republic square, the most central square of the city, and "recharge the batteries" having cappuccino or espresso, sitting at a table of the oldest cafe of Florence! This is the time to ask all your questions about the city: what to do or eat, where to shop or have the best gelato! Then we will walk to the Accademia! Here you will hear about Michelangelo, the breathtaking David, and the inspiring Captives and how these masterpieces came to life!
We meet at your hotel or in the center of Florence where it's convenient for you. - Gallery of the Uffizi (museum) with masterpieces of Botticelli, Leonardo da Vinci, Michelangelo. - Gallery of the Accademia (museum) with David by Michelangelo. * The sequence of the itinerary can be subject to changes according to the meeting point and the season. * You can book the tour from Tuesday to Sunday. The Uffizi Gallery and the Accademia Gallery are closed on Mondays. The museums are not accessible with a reservation on any first Sunday of each month.
Tell your guide which places matter to you, skip what doesn't, and tailor the experience for your group's needs. Not finding what you want? Message your guide to build something unique.
