My first time to Florence was in July -92 and it just felt right. I loved everything I saw and all the people I met so six months later I was living in Firenze and I have never had any regrets. Florence is my hometown and I live in the busy area of San Lorenzo. I have been working as a licensed tour guide in Florence since 2004 and in Siena since 2008. I consider myself very lucky because being a tour guide is not just a job. It is a lifestyle! One of the best things in my job is that every day is different and that I have the privilege to meet people from all parts of the world. I believe that a good tour guide has to love people and be willing to interact and share experiences. If I had to describe myself in three words they would be positive, outgoing and dynamic. My idea about giving tours is that they have to be more than just pleasant and informative. I think it is equally important to have fun without being superficial and to deliver an experience. I want you to fall in love with Florence and Tuscany like I did in 1992 and make you want to come back over and over again. I hope to see you soon! Ciao ciao Bachelor Degree in History. University of Stockholm. 1992 Licensed Tour Guide in Florence since 2004 Licensed Tour Guide in Siena since 2008 Member of the Association of Official Tour Guides in Florence, AGT I am not a driver but I can arrange for a car and driver.

The Uffizi Gallery is one of the most famous and largest art galleries in the world. If you love art and the Renaissance this museum is a "must". When you enter the Uffizi Gallery it is easy to feel lost and not knowing where to start. I will take you to the real highlights. Together we will pick and choose what YOU want to see. While we enjoy the paintings we will talk about the artists' lives and how they worked. Did Botticelli have a female model for his masterpieces? Did Michelangelo and Leonardo da Vinci get along? I will try to answer all your questions. Are you ready to get thrilled in front of the marvellous "Birth of Venus" and the "Allegory of Spring" by Sandro Botticelli? Or admire the elegance of Raphael? Who is not amazed by the greatness of Leonardo da Vinci or the strong colours used by Caravaggio? Maje sure you book the tickets; www.uffizi.it
This is a 3-hour tour. Feel free to choose whether you want to spend the whole time inside the Uffizi Gallery or combining the visit with a walking tour. I am flexible and I can meet up in front of the museum or at your accommodation. Book tickets: www.uffizi.it The tour of the Uffizi Gallery includes, among others, artworks by: - Giotto - Filippo Lippi - Piero della Francesca - Botticelli - Leonardo Da Vinci - Michelangelo - Raphael - Caravaggio
