Full Day Tour of Florence with Academy and Uffizi Gallery

From the moment we met Giuseppe, we knew we were in great hands. He was warm, organized, and had a clear plan for the day, while still being incredibly flexible and understanding of the needs of our young children. He had a booster seat ready for our daughter and patiently waited as we installed our travel car seat for our toddler. As a Florence native whose family has been there for generations, Giuseppe brought deep knowledge and passion to the tour—sharing insightful history throughout our time in Pisa and especially in Florence. He handled unexpected moments, like a bathroom break and even a small accident, with complete grace and kindness—we never felt rushed. He picked the perfect lunch spot for authentic Florentine food and a delicious gelato stop to cool off. If we could give more than five stars, we would. We’ll absolutely book with Giuseppe again on our next trip!

Giuseppe was a fantastic guide. We booked a full day tour of Florence with him and it was worth the investment. He explained the art in the Uffizi and Academia Gallery as it developed through each century. This chronological description helped to make sense of so much art viewing in one full day. Giuseppe also booked a lunch at a Florentine restaurant with Florentine owners and a traditional Tuscan menu. We highly recommend Giuseppe as a guide!

He was very personable, knowledgeable, friendly and as we were wearing out he would find shady spots or places to sit down. I highly recommend him. I was not one in the past that really appreciated art (the rest of the family already did) I came away from this tour with a much better understanding and appreciation for art and the history of Florence. He even walked us to a destination post tour we were unable to find.

Giuseppe was one of the best guides we have ever had. He was extremely knowledgeable on Tuscan art, architecture, and general history. His passion for this region added great energy to our private tour with him. He was very charming and did a great job at tailoring the pace and focus of the tour to our interests. Also, he seemed to have endless relationships with the workers at the museums and, in fact, throughout the community. People were always coming up to him to say "hi." Highly recommended!!

Giuseppe provided my niece and I with an extensive tour of Florence, including the Uffizi and Academia museums. His knowledge of medieval and renaissance art was formidable. He also included thorough tour of historic Florence, with incredible historical detail.
