The Uffizi is one of the oldest art galleries in Europe, the main collection of which was created by Medici exponents. This tour includes 2 hour visit that reveals the most famous paintings of Botticelli, Leonardo, Michelangelo, Titian and other works by famous masters as Cimabue, Paolo Uccello, Filippo Lippi, Raphael, Caravaggio Giotto. I promise not to be boring and not to go into specific art details, techniques and dates but to go for many curious stories and legends that almost each painting has behind it. The Uffizi Gallery is closed on Monday. Be aware the Uffizi Gallery is the most frequenting museum in the world, so it's rather crowded all the year round, let me know in advance if you have some particular needs (like headphones) or you have medical concerns.
We'll spend two hours exploring the Uffizi gallery. Our itinerary is based on the evolution of the image of the Virgin in Italian painting.
