Discover the essence of Florence on this guided tour, where we'll uncover the profound impact the Medici family had on its development. As we explore the city, I'll share fascinating insights into this family who was pivotal in shaping Florence’s artistic and cultural landscape. We'll also do a deep dive into the world of Renaissance art by visiting the famous Uffizi Gallery, home to masterpieces by renowned artists like Botticelli, Michelangelo, and Leonardo da Vinci. Besides this, we'll explore the Medieval district as well as the Duomo area. Moreover, we'll cover Florence’s historic centre too, where you’ll encounter iconic landmarks such as the Florence Cathedral, with its famous dome designed by Brunelleschi, and the Ponte Vecchio, a historic bridge lined with jewellery shops. We’ll also visit the Piazza della Signoria, a lively square filled with sculptures and astounding architecture. Since this is a walking tour, I would advise you to wear comfy shoes and bring a water bottle!
