I would like to present myself as an expert of Itineraries in Florence and Tuscany. Florence is my base town, but I have lived for a long time in Siena Province, Chianti and San Gimignano. Certainly I have expertise in every corner of Tuscany. I offer and enjoy also giving tours in other destinations in Central Italy Liguria, Emilia, Umbria and Rome. My university formation is in the Fine arts and history. I am a licensed tour guide, tour manager and tour agent. I have followed several other courses in languages, wine production and Italian food. My professional experiences were for long time in art galleries. As a child, I traveled a lot with my family, as student I liked the idea of being an expert and knowledgeable tour guide. My passion for art, history, outdoor living, landscapes, cuisine made this possible in my mature age. That is how I started in 2009 my experience as a tour guide. I worked as free lance for several local companies based in Florence. Since 2016 I am promoting my services on this Platform ToursByLocals. I have no words to explain how great experience it has been since than. As of today, I prefer giving guided tours in the museums of Florence. But, I am passionate of exploring surroundings, towns, villages or trails off the beaten paths. My regular tours are result of experience . The day in Florence you've always dreamed of! We may start with The Gallery of the Academy. It has several depts. The early Renaissance paintings from various workshops XV th before Michelangelo. The stunning David statue. We'll talk about the story of it's creation. About the life of Michelangelo. Musical instruments department. We'll than walk in the city centre and stop at the most important monuments. The Cathedral (Duomo) , San Lorenzo, Palazzo Medici, Piazza Signoria, Ponte Vecchio and Pitti Palace. Time for shopping. The Uffizi Gallery only exterior. But you can customize this tour to extended version. Maybe a break before continue. The art of Giotto, Filippo Lippi, Botticelli, Leonardo, Michelangelo, Rafaello, Titian, Caravaggio, Rubens and other. This is a large museum. Takes about 2 hrs. I am master of painting courses at Florence Academy of Fine Arts.
Sinisa was excellent tour guide. He is knowledgeable and experienced. He stayed with us longer to accommodate our times to visit the museum. Make sure you secure tickets as they cannot secure tickets for you and there is not a "jump the line" with a guide. I'd make sure that was secure next time so you don't loose time. Only real negative was Sinisa did not pick us up at hotel. Finding him at the museum was difficult and took some time and emails back and forth by TBL.
Our tour of Florence museums with local expert Sinisa Milan was beyond excellent! Sinisa is such a knowledgeable and interesting person who provided great depth of history and background on the Academy and Uffizi museum collections. We greatly enjoyed our half day which extended into the evening as the queues were lengthy. Highly recommend this tour and Sinisa to anyone who visits Florence!
He was a great tour guide. He is incredibly knowledgable. Although we had some difficulty navigating the museum with my elderly parents, he was very patient and helpful. We were a large group and he quickly learned the dynamics of who was really interested in the art and who was less so. I am grateful for his guidance on our tour.
Sinisa was so knowledgeable and efficiently took us through the academia and uffizi where we saw and he explained all the art you want to see! He also suggested a place for dinner which was fantastic!

We thoroughly enjoyed our time with Sinisa. While the focus of the tour and his expertise was centered on the evolution and impact of Florentine artists, it was intertwined with the necessary detail of Florentine history, mythology and the spread of Catholicism.
