Ciao! I’m Valentina, a licensed local tour guide from Tuscany. I’ve been guiding travelers since 2007, sharing the beauty, history, and everyday life of my home region with visitors from all over the world. From the historic streets of Florence to the charm of Livorno and the iconic Leaning Tower of Pisa, I love bringing these cities to life through stories, local insights, and a relaxed walking pace. I’m passionate about travel, food, wine, and animals (especially dogs!), and I believe that the best way to explore a place is by engaging all your senses - tasting authentic Tuscan cuisine, discovering hidden corners, and learning the stories that only locals know. My tours are private, easygoing, and fully personalized, designed to match your interests and travel style. Come walk with me and experience Tuscany like a local - one step at a time. See you soon! Valentina

With this particular tour we'll see a lot of art! We'll take take a walk through the historical center of Florence where we'll touch all the must-see places ending our visit in one of the most visited museum in Florence: the Uffizi. One of the most important painting collections in the world, gathered in a chronological order, which allows one to understand the evolution of Italian painting thanks to works by Giotto, Botticelli, Leonardo da Vinci, Michelangelo and Raphael. Are you ready? I'm not one of those boring guides only sharing dates and names, I love talking about the history and also adding local info and fun anecdotes behind the artworks!
-We'll enter the Uffizi museum and stop by its best artworks including Giotto, Botticelli, Michelangelo, Leonardo da Vinci, Raphael. - We'll walk by the religious center. - We'll stop and see from the outside the Baptistry, the Duomo and Giotto's Bell-tower. - We'll then reach Piazza della Signoria, an open air museum. Here we'll be stopping by the copy of Michelangelo's David. - We'll walk by the statues of Perseus, Neptune and Hercules. - We'll be walking towards Pontevecchio, the oldest bridge of Florence. UFFIZI is closed on Mondays but you can contact me for other ideas! In case of strikes or unexpected museum closings, I cannot guarantee entry to the museums. I would like to remind you to be properly dressed when visiting churches. In particular, remember to cover your shoulders and to avoid wearing shorts.
