Ciao! My name is Chiara and I am an Official Licensed Tour Guide in Florence, born and raised here. In 2007 I graduated in foreign languages and literature with historical and artistic orientation. Before my graduation I travelled all over the world both for pleasure and as a tour leader. This allowed me to consolidate my knowledge and foreign languages. I love Florence, the city that inspired the greatest artists in history such as Leonardo da Vinci, Michelangelo and Botticelli. Since I was child I liked to walk through its streets where, like today, there was an authentic and suggestive flavour. This surreal atmosphere also colors and envelops all the great artistic heritage left by the most important family in the city, the Medici Family who presided Florence for four hundred years. Overview of your Florence tour
You don't have many days to visit Florence? This is the tour for you! In one day you can see the highlights of the city and you will visit two of the most important museums in the world: Accademia and Uffizi Museum. The tour start from the Accademia where you will admire the Michelangelo's David, the amazing statue created by the sculptor, as well as some other important works of art by the same artist. After the visit of the museum, you will walk through the beautiful old town's streets and squares reaching the splendid Duomo complex with its monuments entirely coated in polychrome marble: the Cathedral with the majestic Brunelleschi's Dome, the Baptistery and Giotto's bell tower. Then you will have about one hour of free time for lunch. In the afternoon we will reach Piazza della Signoria with the imposing Palazzo Vecchio and we will finish the tour inside of the Uffizi Gallery, the famous museum which holds works as the wonderful "Birth of Venus" by Botticelli. So, don't forget to book!!!
