Dear traveler, My name is Elisabetta and I was born and raised in Tuscany. Since I was a child I loved history and languages and you can imagine how lucky I felt when my main passions turned out to be a job 21 years ago and I became a qualified tour guide. As I have worked in the travel business since 1989, I have developed an important knowledge on the region where I have always lived and about Italy in general. I mostly deal with families, couples and small parties, this allows me to personalize my tours; everyone of us is different or has different expectations! Travelling is an essential part in my life too. I am never tired of discovering new places and with my husband, wherever we are, we always hire local guides. We like to have the feel of the country we are visiting, something special only a local can offer you. The tours I am listing here are samples of what we can do together, I can also customize them according to your expectations and to the time you have available: like with a chef, provide me the ingredients (your wishes) and I will "cook" your personal tour!!! ---- ABOUT MY TOURS (increasing with TBL and very positive feedback!!!) My tours can last from three hours up to a full day and the PRICE depends on duration, it's not per person but PER GROUP, this means for 1 to 7 clients (some even 10) the cost is the SAME! The majority of my tours are walking tours because I love to show you sights, as charming squares or picturesque alleys, that you won't see on the tour bus, with me only PERSONAL TOURS! On request I can hire a private driver/luxury and air-conditioned van, it's the easier and a favourite way to discover Florence or Siena but more costly than various taxi rides. For the "CRUISE VISITORS": I've arranged "VIP treatment" shore excursions including a luxury air conditioned car or minivan with a professional driver (pick up and drop off at your ship). MY GOAL IS: - to let you fall in love in Tuscany like I am and make sure you keep fond memories of the most beautiful region of Italy! - to provide you a joyous unforgettable experience! In 2007 I was the only guide in London representing the Tuscany Guide Association for a special exhibit at the National Gallery. I have passed my art, history and language exams but - unless you specifically request it - I am not willing to give you a lecture: your tour has to be informative and fun, because your holiday is meant to be FUN! So you will experience and discover a lot but whenever you will feel like it, we'll stop for a drink or a coffee or - why not - a delicious home made gelato! I have two gelato maestros in my family so you can't go wrong!!! To avoid disappointment, book your tour NOW (last night I received an email from a client that wrote me 4 weeks ago, he was willing to confirm but the Uffizi tickets are sold out tomorrow …) I look forward to showing you Florence, Siena, San Gimignano and other beauties in Tuscany. For the main museums like Uffizi and Accademia, I can book fast track tickets without handling fees as you will be able to pay those extras directly at the counter. I would be happy to recommend my favourite restaurants, cafés or gelato places or even book them for you if you wish. Allora … ci vediamo in Toscana! Then … I'll see you in Tuscany! Elisabetta, your personal tour guide I am not a driver. I can accompany you in your vehicle or I can arrange for a separate car and driver.

We will retrace the evolution of the Renaissance through a selection of paintings housed in one of the most prestigious museums in the world: the Uffizi Gallery. Our journey will begin in the Early Renaissance with Lippi's amazing Madonnas and Botticelli's exquisite Venus. From there, we'll move on to work produced by the three greatest masters of the apex of the Renaissance: Leonardo, Michelangelo and Raffaello to finish with Titian and Caravaggio. It might seem a lot but let me tell you it will be an enjoyable experience, it will be performed at your pace and should you need a short break at the museum cafeteria we will certainly be able to include it! It is my place. . . if I don't go there often I miss it and it will be my pleasure to share my Uffizi love with you!
Starting from the top floor down: - Majesty altarpieces by Giotto, Cimabue and Duccio di Buoninsegna - Annunciation by Simone Martini - Adoration of the Magi by Gentile da Fabriano - Portraits of the Dukes of Urbino by Piero della Francesca - Primavera by Sandro Botticelli - Birth of Venus by Sandro Botticelli - Tribuna - Annunciation by Leonardo da Vinci - Doni Tondo by Michelangelo - Doni family portraits by Raphael - Madonna of the Goldfinch by Raphael - Venus by Titian - Medusa by Caravaggio - Self portrait by Caravaggio
