I was born in Budapest in 1967 and I have always lived in this beautiful city. Qualified in 1993, I work as a full-time professional tour guide in the Hungarian capital. Out of showing the most beautiful sights and monuments, I would like to present our culture, traditions and everyday life in my way: brought to life with many personal stories and memories. My main profile is organizing walking tours in Budapest, e. g. : a comprehensive WORLD HERITAGE TOUR and shorter walks to explore the good old Buda Castle, the hidden treasures of the City Park or the dramatic sites of FAITH, COMMUNIST DICTATORSHIP and THE 1956 NATIONAL REVOLUTION. My main hobbies are studying about arts and history, as well as organizing tours, excursions and club activities for tour guides in Budapest as a member of the national tour guide association. It is an other story: I am also a member of the Hungarian Vegan association. Licensed guide in English and Italian, national certification in 1993. Graduated in art history. My tours are only by walking and using public transportation. While I'm not a driver, I can arrange private car/van for you if needed.

This is a half-day tour using a comfortable car or minivan. This way you can cover many sights in a relatively short time, and you can easily get to the higher points of the city. I will show you the main monuments of Pest and Buda, the places where you can take the best photos. Under the seven towers of Fishermen's Bastion, you will enjoy the most beautiful panoramic view. You will see the Gothic beauty of Matthias Church where once royal weddings and coronation ceremonies were held. After crossing the majestic Danube river, I will take you to St. Stephen Basilica where the oldest human hand in the world is exhibited. You will visit Heroes' Square with the spectacular national monument of Hungary. Next to it you will even see a scary looking castle connected to count Dracula. I was born in Budapest and I have always lived here. I love its rich history and vivid atmosphere. I would like to share with you interesting facts and legends, and even my personal experiences of my city from a local perspective.
During the tour we will use a spacious vehicle. Our driver will park near the sights. The following itinerary is just a suggestion. You are welcome to make any change, and I can customize it accordingly. - Drive to the Castle Hill and have a pleasant walk in the oldest part of the city, Buda Castle District with its tiny Medieval merchant houses - Admire the Gothic Matthias Church where once royal weddings and coronation ceremonies were held (optional skip-the-line inner visit) - Explore Fishermen's Bastion, a perfect photo theme and lookout place to capture the amazing view of Budapest with the Danube and its bridges, a World Heritage Site on the Unesco list - Visit the monumental St. Stephen Basilica with its many artworks and relics (optional skip-the-line inner visit) - Go to Heroes' Square and have a third photo stop there, watching the Millennium Monument with the statues of the Hungarian rulers - Drive around the oldest public park of the world, to see its Romantic castle and thermal bath
Tell your guide which places matter to you, skip what doesn't, and tailor the experience for your group's needs. Not finding what you want? Message your guide to build something unique.
We will use a modern, clean and air-conditioned minivan.
