Welcome to My Budapest! Budapest isn’t just a city I guide, it’s my home. I’m Andrea, a local, independent private guide, born and raised in this beautiful city. For nearly 30 years, I’ve been helping visitors discover the very best of Hungary. Along the way, I’ve worked with top hotels, business travelers, families, independent explorers, and government delegations, guiding Presidents, Prime Ministers, and diplomats in cooperation with the Hungarian State Department. I don’t believe in rushed sightseeing or scripted tours. I believe in stories, connections, and moments that stay with you long after you’ve returned home. Having lived abroad and studied in the United States at the University of Maryland, my approach blends deep local roots with an international understanding of what travelers truly value. Whether I’m guiding families, first-time visitors, or high-profile international guests, I share Jewish history and heritage with sensitivity, respect, and heart, creating experiences that are personal, thoughtful, and deeply meaningful. Every tour I create is tailored to you, your interests, your pace, and your curiosity. With the comfort of a private luxury Mercedes vehicle and the freedom to adapt along the way, you can simply relax and experience Budapest as it’s meant to be felt. If you’d like to discover Budapest, Hungary, with someone who truly cares, I’d love to welcome you. Let’s turn your visit into a lasting memory. Szentendre is a lovely, charming, Baroque town on the Danube bank 20 km from Budapest. In the 18th century, it used to be the center of the Serbs in Hungary when it became the seat of their commercial, cultural and pastoral life for a hundred years. Whenever I had little time to escape from Budapest, I would go to Szentendre to wonder about its crooked streets and narrow, romantic alleys. I would enjoy the view from Szamárhegy (Dunkey Hill), the seven church towers, the colorful houses, and the dominant Mediterranean atmosphere. Plenty of its museums make this charming little town the most frequently visited center on the Danube Bend among Hungarians. This tour is available for large and private groups as well.
