I have been working as a local tour guide in Hungary since 2011. Budapest is my beautiful city where I was born and where I spent most of my life. Even though I have been travelling around the world since my early childhood, and I have lived in several countries, Hungary never ceased to be my home! I am proud of being a Hungarian and I passionatly like to show my country and tell about us Hungarians to my visitors. I really believe, that besides showing the main sights, it is also important to give a real local experience, showing the customs, the traditions, the gastronomy, the everyday life, the mentality and much more of Hungary. I speak both English and Swedish on a native level and I offer personal, tailor-made tours where I like to combine the historical facts with entertaining stories and legends. Due to my academic background, I encourage my visitors to feel free to raise questions about politics, religion, society, economy or anything else concerning life in Hungary. I also suggest visits to smaller, hidden treasures, off-the-beaten-track venues and show illustrations during the tours to make the experience really unforgettable! Let it be the capital, Budapest, or a small village in the beautiful Hungarian countryside, winetasting in a local family-run vinyard or a visit in the Jewish quarter, maybe real time-travelling back to the Communist era life. . . I am happy to guide you around! - Licensed Tour Guide, Számalk Oktatási és Informatikai Zrt., 2011. - International Studies BA, Eötvös Lóránd University, 2014. - International Relations MA, Corvinus University of Budapest, 2017. - Licensed tour guide in the Dohány Street Great Synagogue of Budapest, 2017.

This is an absolutly tailor-made tour, where upon prior discussion, you can choose which area would you like to visit in the Hungarian countryside. There are two options: 1. Visit to Hollókő, the UNESCO World Heritage village in the North-East of Hungary After a 1 hr 15 min car drive, we arrive to Hollókő where we will see the castle ruins and discover the local cultural heritage, the traditional old houses, interact with the kind locals and also have a lunch in a local restaurant. On the way back, upon request we can stop just to enjoy the view of the picturesque sunflower fields. 2. Visit to Szentendre We start with our visit in the downtown of Szentendre, the town of many artists where we can also visit the famous gallery of the Hungarian ceramist, Kovács Margit or a Hungarian painter. After a refreshing drink and snack, we will visit the Skanzen, an outdoor museum to see centuries old peasent homes and learn about how people used to live traditionally in the Hungarian countryside back in time.
1. Hollókő visit We will drive by car to the beautiful village of Hollókő where upon arrival we can walk up to the old ruins of the Medieval Castle. After this, we will discover the old houses of the village in the area that has become a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1987. We can enter the small homes, and see how the people lived and still do live in the houses, while meeting the locals, sometimes still dressed up in their folk costumes and learning about Hungarian traditions and superstitions. After a delicious Hungarian lunch in a local restaurant, we will drive back to Budapest. 2. Szentendre visit After a 45 min car drive we will arrive to Szentendre, a charming town along the Danube. After a walk on the cobblestone streets, we can visit any of the small galleries as the town is well-known for it's famous artists. After a coffee or a lunch we will drive to the open-air museum, Skanzen, to learn more about the village-life of the Hungarians in the old times. The tour can be customized upon request.

This is a full day tour by car with some walking in both of the towns and quite much walking in the open-air museum (appr. 1 hr). The number of maximum travelers depends always on the availability of mini vans at the time of the wanted tour.
