While my hometown was changing into a Central-European hub, I finished my studies in 2011, the last chapter was finishing my Master’s program in tourism and guiding. As they say… the rest is history! I am working with several river cruise companies such as Viking, Tauck, Scenic, Emerald, AMA Waterways. This way I have the necessary knowledge to arrange post, or pre-cruise tours without repeating the sights you’ve seen before. I am not necessarily a 'regular' guide, I am more into helping my travellers understand the city they are touring, instead of citing facts and figures about buildings and statues. - During this tour we drive up to Gellert hill - to one of the nicest vantage points of Central-Europe to make sure you can take in the amazing views of the Danube and the city. - we can drive to have a peek at the Palace neighbourhood - We can walk around the House of Parliament building, the nearby Liberty square and the Shoes memorial, - we can stop at the House of Terror Museum, - Alternatively we can discover the Buda Castle quarter that the included cruise tours have to exclude due to traffic regulations - we can drive to the historical Jewish quarter to see more synagogues. We not just drive by the key sites of Budapest, but we can allocate more time for those and to some we can even enter some of those like the St. Stephen's Basilica, State Opera House, synagogues, etc. !
