Would you like to dive deep into the middle age of the Hungarian and Budapest history? Than this is the perfect choice for you! On this tour we are going to walk around the only area of Budapest which partly survived the great wars and luckily left some real old building plus the atmosphere give back the essence of the middle age. We will conquer the Royal Palace than continue with a government area than arrive to the residential area stop by a cake and coffee than finish in the city center, in the mean time enjoy all the great stories from me who's tremendous passion is history.
We were a party of 4-ages 20 to 55. Barbara was able to keep everyone's interest. She has such command of the history and personal stories that really helped us gain perspective. Shared beautiful touches in the city we would have otherwise missed. Highly recommend!!
Barbara met us at our hotel and customized how we did our tour. We walked to the castle over the bridge. She was very knowledgeable and always willing to accommodate our needs. Had a delicious streusel break with coffee and hot chocolate. We tour the whole area and she returned us to hotel. After she got a local map, giving us several places to possibly visit the next day. We would highly recommend her as a guide!
Barbara was delightful and so easy to talk with , ask questions of and of course inform us of as many details as possible about our tour of the castle. Very knowledgeable and easy to tour with.
