Welcome to My Budapest! Budapest isn’t just a city I guide, it’s my home. I’m Andrea, a local, independent private guide, born and raised in this beautiful city. For nearly 30 years, I’ve been helping visitors discover the very best of Hungary. Along the way, I’ve worked with top hotels, business travelers, families, independent explorers, and government delegations, guiding Presidents, Prime Ministers, and diplomats in cooperation with the Hungarian State Department. I don’t believe in rushed sightseeing or scripted tours. I believe in stories, connections, and moments that stay with you long after you’ve returned home. Having lived abroad and studied in the United States at the University of Maryland, my approach blends deep local roots with an international understanding of what travelers truly value. Whether I’m guiding families, first-time visitors, or high-profile international guests, I share Jewish history and heritage with sensitivity, respect, and heart, creating experiences that are personal, thoughtful, and deeply meaningful. Every tour I create is tailored to you, your interests, your pace, and your curiosity. With the comfort of a private luxury Mercedes vehicle and the freedom to adapt along the way, you can simply relax and experience Budapest as it’s meant to be felt. If you’d like to discover Budapest, Hungary, with someone who truly cares, I’d love to welcome you. Let’s turn your visit into a lasting memory. Overview of your Budapest tour

For eighteen centuries, from Roman times to the present a unique Jewish community has lived and played an essential role in the evolution of many cities, shaping neighborhoods in the Carpathian Basin. On the tour, I take you through the Jewish sights of Budapest in chronological order and I tell you the fascinating story of the struggles, achievements, and setbacks of the Hungarian Jews. While we visit the Jewish sights in Budapest I will get you aquainted with their seminal role in Hungarian politics, finance, industry, science, medicine, arts, literature, and their surprisingly rich contributions to Jewish scholarship and religious leadership in Hungary. See and visit Jewish sights by both sides of the river Danube in Pest and Buda. This tour is available for large and private groups as well as for families and can be customized for 4; 6; or 8 hours Please request for price quotation.

We had a fabulous tour from someone who is extremely knowledgeable and passionate about the jewish history and her love for Hungary. I was totally absorbed by her stories and she takes you on a 700 year journey through Jewish history in Buda and Pest and how it became Budspest.. very enlightening from a very likable lady. Thanks for s great memory Lynn and Bill Kay .

My family and I joined Andrea and her excellent driver David, on her Jewish heritage tour of Budapest. Although we had booked for 5, another family member joined us in Budapest, and she happily arranged for a larger vehicle to accommodate us all. The comfortable air conditioned Mercedes, with a fridge full of cold water, was a welcome relief on a hot day. Andrea took us all over both the Buda and Pest sides of the city, stopping to point out and discuss interesting historical and cultural details. Her knowledge of the Jewish and political history of the city is remarkable and fascinating. She also shared her own story of living in a city with such a volatile past. Her warm personality and wonderful sense of humor made us feel that we were being accompanied by an old friend. I chose Andrea based on her excellent TA reviews and she was even better than expected! Thank you Andrea

Everything about our tour was perfect. Our guide was knowledgeable, friendly and answered all of our questions. We were a group of 4 traveling from the US to Budapest with limited time to see the city. Our experience far exceeded our expectations!

Andrea was the best guide we had during our 2 week trip. She was gracious despite our tardiness at the beginning of our tour. She is knowledgeable about history, of Budapest and the Jewish community. She shared her personal background and made Our experience even more meaningful. The car was essential due to the rain and took us to Buda as well as Pest (where we started.) A 5 star experience for sure!
