Jewish Budapest Tour

Petra was a lovely knowledgeable guide who made our visit a lot of fun while introducing us to the city she loves. Petra met us promptly at our hotel and we spent a few minutes talking about our interests, expectations and indicating what we had already seen. Besides her deep knowledge about the Jewish Quarter and the history of Jews in Hungary, she shared with us insights into general life in Budapest. We learned so much and enjoyed spending time with a resident of this beautiful city. We ended at a ruin bar (very fun) and she gave us some recommendations for dining. As it turned out, we already had reservations at a restaurant she herself frequents. I highly recommend Petra.

We had a very informative and fun tour with Petra. She knows the Jewish history of Budapest and knows her way around town-even the secret routes. She also made great restaurant and bar recommendations and even made a dinner reservation for us at a very desirable restaurant. We even ran into her the next day while she was leading another tour and it was like running into an old friend!

Petra was great. Friendly and knowledge about the neighborhood. It was a 1-person tour and I’m quick, so we wrapped up early. She was nice enough to recommend a few places to eat and even took me to where the restaurants were located, and gave me a quick and dirty tour of the area they were in.
