Overview of your Budapest tour

This tour is the best choice for all those who besides to learn in depth about the Jewish heritage in Hungary, would like to see the general beauty of our wonderful city. As I am an active member of the Jewish Community, I can add in almost every corner of the city, Jewish connection to the place, either historical or about the present day. General part - by car -covers the major highlights of the city, showing the grandeur and Old World charm of Budapest. Visit both sides of the River: the colorful hills of Buda and the bustling businesslike boulevards of Pest. House of Parliament, Andrassy Avenue, Heroes Square, walk in the Castle District and enjoy the magnificent panoramic view to the city from the Fisherman's Bastion. The Jewish part (walking tour): Dohany Synagogue, Jewish Museum, Orthodox Section, Shoes' Memorial by the River Danube, Glass House- Rescue and Resistance Center. If you prefer, we can make all in one day! See my another offer. I am also happy to customize the tour.

Maybe the best tour I’ve ever taken. Andrea was wonderful. Her knowledge of the city and the Jewish history was incredible. The 3 synagogues were amazing. And the Tel Aviv restaurant for lunch was delicious. Get the pizza! The mushroom pasta looked good too.

Andrea is a wonderful guide, filled with incredible knowledge of her country and its history. She made it fun and interesting for both days of our tour, with wonderful suggestions of how to complete our experience of Budapest on our own. We were 6 people and we all thoroughly enjoyed our time with Andrea.

We toured Budapest with Andrea in Apr. 2018. Sorry it took so long to write this. She was outstanding. Her knowledge of the entire city and the Jewish components was outstanding. We toured with her after doing 'The March of the Living' and her experiences after the war were an added bonus. Andrea was a remarkable guide and I would recommend her to all. Thank you for sharing your Budapest with us. David Gotfrid. (On behalf of myself, Marilyn, Brian and Susan)
