I am an experienced, licensed Private Tour Guide in Budapest, Hungary, providing customized tours in the capital and the countryside to individuals, small groups and families. We spent a thoroughly amazing day with George, learning about the origins and history of Hungary while exploring towns along the Danube. Had a wonderful time! George is very knowledgeable and was able to get us around the city and country side with a very good narrative of the attractions and area. He also gave an excellent recommendation in Budapest for dinner...Ans was willing to adjust and accommodate any special request we had! I would recommend and book again with him!
We booked the services of George for 3 consecutive days - One day to introduce us to all the major significant buildings in Budapest and 2 other days visiting areas outside of the capital including Lake Balaton. George Molnar was extremely good and knows his history. We were very happy with his services and would highly recommend him to anyone else looking to get to know the area better.
Our guide arrived on time in a lovely comfy vehicle. He was very polite and friendly and knew a lot about Hungary, Budapest, the mountains and surrounding villages. The places we went to on the bends tour were amazing. Beautiful views, beautiful buildings and villages. He let us make our own choices on the way which gave us adequate time to spend time enjoying what we wanted to do. We would recommend this tour and tour guide highly. His English was excellent.
We very much enjoyed our day with George, he picked us up in Esztergom and gave us a full day tour ending in Budapest. George is very friendly and enjoys telling a joke and he aims to please his customers and he is a gentleman opening and closing doors for you and making sure you are ok. George is very knowledgeable and interesting to listen to. We highly recommend George as a tour guide.
I will pick you up and drive to Esztergom, the 1st capital of Hungary. - We will visit the largest basilica, enjoy an amazing panorama and a view to Slovakia. - Then we continue to Visegrad the former royal town where you can see the best panoramic view of the country, the medieval Citadel that offers exhibitions; we can have lunch here. - Our 3rd stop is Szentendre: The town of artists, that looks like an Italian village. It was built on Romanic ruins, during our walk around the charming historical center you can admire winding cobblestone streets, beautiful churches, 18th century baroque architecture and cozy little cafes. - You may choose from several museums like the Marzipan Museum or enjoy your free time for shopping or a cup of coffee. The highlights: - Visit to the Esztergom Basilica - Visit to the Visegrad Castle - Educational walk in Esztergom, Visegrad and Szentendre I can tailor the tour to fit your wishes.
