I am an experienced, licensed Private Tour Guide in Budapest, Hungary, providing customized tours in the capital and the countryside to individuals, small groups and families. As I have always lived in Budapest I can introduce it to you through the eye of a native Hungarian. My guiding experience includes working for top hotels and caring for private clients of Viking River Cruises, Amawaterways and Tauck River Cruises. For most of my adult life I have been a wondering, wandering academic full of wanderlust. I'm passionate about travel, very fond of meeting fellow travellers, photography, driving to new places, learning on the way and returning to old favourites with new eyes. I have spent 7 years in the US and Germany working for cruise lines such as Royal Caribbean and Holland America. Having returned I realized that guiding was my vocation and in 2006 I got qualified as a licensed tourist guide which I have been doing ever since. Throughout the years my aim has been to exceed my guests' expectations by giving them a personal approach with a good sense of humor and to introduce my city and Hungary in an enthusiastic, amusing and informative manner.
