This tour is for you if you'd like to spend more time discovering the most famous sights in Pest. Discover the history and admire the architecture of St. Stephen's Basilica and the Opera House before hopping on the cutest and oldest underground in continental Europe. Visit Vajdahunyad Castle - it's said to be modelled from a castle of the same name in Transylvania, Romania - the famous Szechenyi Spa and of course Heroes' Square is a must. Take a pleasant stroll in Kossuth Square where I'll introduce you to the history of the Parliament building and tell you about the 1956 Freedom Fights. If you'd like we can walk down to the river and visit the famous 'Shoes on the Danube Bank' - a tribute to the Jewish people who were murdered by the Arrow Cross Party.
