If you want to know Hungary as well, not just Budapest, I invite you to come along on this tour. It's perfect for those who want to know more about the history, and culture and would like to explore the country's not too touristy sites. We will even make a short visit to another country. . . Got you curious? We will visit the biggest church of Hungary, and we will also discover the medieval castles of Visegrád and meet the kings and listen to stories about the stunnung golden age of Hungary and Europe. Further than history I tell you family stories too, so stay tuned. We finish our day in a lovely artistic town called Szentendre and then return to Budapest. Have a wonderful day out and discover the Hungarian medieval history and a unique view of the UNESCO World Heritage Danube Bend where the Danube makes its largest turn to the south. We meet at your hotel or another meeting point. - We will be travelling by a comfortable air-conditioned car or minivan. - We start at the furthest point of our journey in Slovakia, from which there is a very unique view of the other side of the river, to Esztergom the biggest Catholic church of Hungary. - We will return then to the bridge and have a closer look at the Basilica, its surroundings. Because the Basilica is under renovation I can offer you other programs in the town or in the forest. Good to know before booking: the place is quite hilly there is some amount of walk and stairs - Then we explore the medieval sites of Hungary, - the castle of Visegrád, there are only stairs going up to the castle - the medieval palace of King Matthias. - We can have lunch there in a nice medieval restaurant. - We continue on our way to Szentendre, a colorful village of artists, galleries, artisanal shops and churches.
