Visiting Szentendre is the best day trip you can do from Budapest! The lovely old town with cobble stone streets, art galleries and great artisan shops are favorite of locals and travelers alike. Nestled on the little hills by the Danube its narrow streets have a special, Mediterranean vibe with nice restaurants offering outdoor terraces. It is a truly romantic and memorable place!
