Budapest Unlocked: Your 4-Hour City Adventure by Car

“I love Budapest for all the right reasons – architecture, romance, and sticky apricot jam – and some of the wrong ones too — killer pálinka…” - Steve Fallon I promise that latest by the end of this tour you will also fall in love with Budapest! You will learn a lot about its history, urban legends and gastronomy - all while discovering its beautiful architecture and scenery! This is a car/minivan tour (depending on the group size) with a professional driver in a leather-seated Mercedes/Mercedes minivan. We’ll explore the City Park, cruise along the famous Andrássy Avenue, and check out the Inner City, including St. Stephen’s Basilica, Gresham Palace, and the Parliament. Then we’ll head over to the Buda Castle area and finish at the stunning Matthias Church, where you can enjoy the amazing view of the Danube and the city. We will have a coffee & cake break in the middle (included in the price).

On this tour we will visit: - the Heroes' Square - the open-air book of Hungarian history - the Vajdahunyad castle - the open-air book of Hungarian architecture Then we will slowly drive by (while talking about them, of course:) - the Andrássy Avenue - the Jewish district with the Great Synagogue We will check out the following sites in the Inner City: - the Saint Stephen's Basilica - the Gresham Palace - the Building of the Hungarian Academy of Science - the "Shoes at the bank of the river" memorial - the Hungarian Parliament's building In the Buda castle: - the romantic residential area of the Buda castle - the Tóth Árpád alley with the view over the other side of Buda - the Fishermen's Bastion with a breathtaking view of the city - the spectacular Matthias church The route can be changed based on your preferences :) Please note that on this tour we do not visit the churches from the inside, but they can be added upon request, just let me know and I will get back with the adjusted tour-plan to you :)
