My name is Agi. I'm a licenced tour guide with 15 years of experience in tourism. There is an old story how I became a tour guide. I was about 3 years old when I said to a group of children on the playground: "If you want to listen to me, please follow me. " And they did. Since then a lot has happened but I still say the same. I like tour guiding so much that I do not consider it as a job. It is important for me that my guests do not only have a good time, but also learn something new, understand the whys, remember tastes, and feelings. A believe that three days after the trip you will not remember which monument was built by whom and when but you will remember the feeling you felt when you saw a particular monument. I like to be part of that feeling, because that you will remember for a long time. I also know that in todays world once you have the time, money, interest, etc. to go on a holiday it has to be memorable. I'm working on your holiday. I"m a professional licenced guide in Hungary since 2004 I have a BA in economy majoring in tourism and a BA in Jewish Liturgy Dohany street Great Synagogue - certified and licenced guide Grand Circle Program Director Training Program Cosmos Tour Director training program I do not have any restrictions in regard to my guiding, except in the Parlament and in the State Opera House since only their local guides are allowed to guide.

BUDAPEST- not every city can brag with having the beautiful blue Danube, hills, palace inside the city, thermal baths, and such good cakes as we have here. And this is only the beginning. This tour includes the highlights of Budapest, as I say we only sratch the surfice. I introduce the city to you in a way that you get the gist of it, and later on you can explore each site more on your own or we can do more different tours together. Among many other topics, we talk about why we lost all the wars, why you'd better be hungry in Hungary, what is the connection between the Hungarian strudel and baklava, why lots of Nobel prize winners have Hungarian roots, why Hungarians cry when they are happy and as I said this is only the begining. . .
Depending on which side I pick you up with car we start the tour either on Pest or in Buda side or if you happen to stay on the Margaret island then in between the two sides. The sites we will definitely see are: -The Royal Palace and the Fishermans Bastion- old part of Buda with good pastries - Heroes square - this is where I tell you 2000 years of Hungarian history in a few minutes - City Park - the paradise for kids - Andrássy Avenue - paradise for shop lovers - Parlament - paradise for architecture lovers - Opera House - paradise for music lovers - etc. - paradise for everyone Since this is an overall tour, we do not enter these sites, but we will stop to take photos. But I can customize the tour to fit your preferences. Please, inquire!
