Hey traveller, I’m Nóra — an economist by degree, a marketer by profession, and a tour guide by passion. Recently I became a happy new mom, and returning to guiding fills me with fresh energy and inspiration. History has always fascinated me. I get truly excited when I discover a hidden story behind an ordinary building or a corner I pass every day. Knowing what once happened there — who lived, loved, or built it — makes the city magical for me. That’s the feeling I want to share with you: helping you see Budapest not just as a destination, but as a living story. What can you expect if you join my tour? Captivating life stories that bring history to life Clear and easy-to-follow explanations with context A few smiles and meaningful conversations Insights into Hungarian culture, spirit, and everyday life Complete flexibility and a personalized experience My favorite local spots, cafés, and viewpoints What not to expect: Dry architectural details or endless lists of names and dates Instead, you’ll meet the most inspiring Hungarians — people who shaped our history, science, and culture — through stories you’ll actually remember. I am a licensed tour guide in Hungary. I believe travel is about connection, curiosity, and good energy. Come walk with me, and I’ll show you why Budapest is not only beautiful, but truly alive.

Discover the heart of Budapest while walking through the city’s most iconic boulevard and squares. Starting at Heroes’ Square, you’ll get a vivid picture of Hungary’s colorful history — from the conquering chieftains to modern times. We’ll stroll through the City Park, pass elegant villas and palaces along Andrássy Avenue, and admire the Opera House’s beauty. The tour continues to St. Stephen’s Basilica, where festive lights guide us to the magical Christmas Market. Warm up with a tea or coffee and a delicious Hungarian cake — and if you wish, we can stop for a crispy lángos, the locals’ favorite street food. Enjoy the charm of Budapest in its most enchanting season and let history, flavors, and lights make this walk unforgettable. I you wish to, we can enter the Saint Stephen Basilica and watch the stunning panorama from the top (my favourite one in the city). Entrance ticket is 4500 HUF (appr. 13 USD) / person. Walking distance: approx. 3 km / 1.8 mile.
Heroes’ Square – meet at the iconic square guarded by Hungary’s founding chieftains. City Park (Városliget) – stroll among statues, castles and peaceful paths where locals relax. Andrássy Avenue – Budapest’s elegant boulevard lined with historic villas and designer shops. Hungarian State Opera House – a jewel of neo-Renaissance architecture and cultural pride. St. Stephen’s Basilica – the spiritual heart of the city, home to Hungary’s most sacred relic. Christmas Market – end the walk surrounded by festive lights, warm drinks and sweet scents. Optional stop for a traditional lángos (Hungarian fried bread) along the way.
