With this tour you can discover every part of the famous Buda Castle district, those parts as well, that the sightseeing tours provided by Danube cruise companies can not - due to the limited time available for sightseeing. This tour is meant to be a relaxed pace walking tour, where there is always time for a slice of strudel and coffee, or to spend time admiring the views of the city. --- Kindly note that the Castle bazaar is an all time favourite venue of the Hungarian government to host diplomatic events, in case of such we wont be able to cross the facility Also should there be a concert, or wedding in the Matthias church the venue remains closed for the public. I do my best to keep the calendar up to date and block those slots when a visit is not possible.

- after pick-up we make our way to the Northernmost point of the Buda Castle hill by using public transport - Church of Mary Magdalene - National Archives - medieval Jewish quarter - inside visit of the iconic Matthias church - admiring the views of Pest from the Fisherman's bastion - zigzagging through the residential part of the Buda Castle neighbourhood - passing by the Alexander Palace aka the Presidential palace - walking by Hauszmann's riding hall and bodyguards palace - passing by the Buda Castle and checking out the newly restored King Matthias fountain - taking in the views of Pest from the Buda Castle battlement - walking through the rebuilt medieval defence lines to the recreated Castle Garden - concluding the tour at Ybl's beaux arts masterpiece at the Castle Bazaar --- Kindly note that the tour can be tailor made for you, excluding those parts covered by different sightseeing tours to make sure there are no overlaps. In that case we adjust our itinerary.
