I will show you the most beautiful monuments and architectural highlights; I can give you the dates and names of architects or I can simply tell you the anecdotes that make the monuments special to us. I will not let you leave Bordeaux without learning about the legendary Eleanor of Aquitaine, the most influential woman of the Middle Age who altered European history for centuries. I have so many stories to tell you and will answer any questions you have about Bordeaux's past or present. If I don't know the answer, I will find it and get back to you! As a food enthusiast, I have made it my mission to discover the best that Bordeaux has to offer and I will share with you all of my favorite restaurants and gourmet shops. Whether you want fine dining or a quiet riverside picnic, I know where to take you. Now a little about me. . . . I am a dual citizen of America and France, born in the US and living in France for 20 years. I met my French husband in the US and after having my second child, I moved us all to France.. It was the best decision of my life and now that my children are older, I spend as much time as possible in cafés sipping espresso or wine. I have learned so much in my time here and I love sharing my knowledge and experiences with curious travelers. Bordeaux is a gorgeous city with so many layers of fascinating history.
