I would customise a beautiful private tour for you to discover the vineyards of Sauternes and Barsac widely known for their sweet white wines of the famous classification of 1855 and which the French often pair with cheese, chocolates and foie gras. We will stop for an incredible panoramic view of the area, walk through the little centre of the Medieval village of Cadillac. Driving through the beautiful wine region of Sauternes and enjoying lunch in a tasty restaurant with view on the vineyards. The tour will always include private visits in English of charming and prestigious Grand Cru Classe Chateaux of Sauternes and Barsac. All my tours outside the city are accompanied by a PRIVATE DRIVER so I can be 100% with you telling you about the area. Your Bordeaux tour itinerary
I will meet you at your hotel or cruise ship in Bordeaux. We will travel to Sauternes, the most prestigious French sweet wines region. 1. An hour private visit of a charming Grand Cru Classe chateau of the Barsac appellation. This visit ends with a tasting of its unique sweet white wines. 2. We will travel through the beautiful vineyards on the way to the medieval village of Cadillac where we will have a stroll in this little Village-Bastide of the 13th century. 3. Lunch in a tasty French restaurant. 4. After lunch, an hour private visit to a beautiful and prestigious chateau of Sauternes. You will discover its vineyards, vat room and cellar before tasting its delicious wines. 5. We will end the tour with a relaxing tasting on a terrace or if you wish we could stop by la Maison des Vins of Cadillac where you can taste some local wines.
