Hello, my name is Hubert and Bordeaux is my hometown. I have been an independent tour guide for the last 9 years. I graduated Bordeaux university with two Masters: one in Roman History with a special focus on Bordeaux and its region, and another one in Journalism. I worked as a journalist for 8 years in Paris reporting for a television channel. Thanks to this great experience, I have travelled extensively all over the world and developed a deep appreciation for other cultures. After living in Paris for several years, I decided to go back to my first two loves: Bordeaux and History. I am now a full-time tour guide in Bordeaux, the Bay of Arcachon, and St Emilion. My roots are in Bordeaux and I take great pleasure in sharing this city I love so much. I know each street and alley, each statue, each corner. They all have a story I am eager to tell. My tours are unique and customized to the needs and interests of my audience. It is really important to me that you feel comfortable and engaged. I am energetic and bring my stories to life by communicating my passion. I like making connections between Bordeaux, the French history, and the country of my guests. And I always do so with humor. My one and only goal is to offer a unique and unforgettable experience. My deepest joy is to hear my guests at the end of a tour saying « I have fallen in love with your city ». And I promise you will ! Official guide card Master's degree in journalism Master's degree in Bordeaux Roman History Wine set level 2

Join me - your native guide - on a 6h Bordeaux tour ! Step back in time and explore medieval Bordeaux, home to iconic landmarks : the Grosse Cloche, the Porte Cailhau, and the magnificent Saint-André Cathedral. Then, immerse yourself in the elegance of 18th-century Bordeaux, an era that transformed the city and later inspired Paris : Grand Théâtre (opera house), Place de la Bourse, Place du parlement And to make the experience even sweeter, we’ll indulge in one of Bordeaux’s most iconic treats: the delicious cannelé! Do you like wine ? I’ll take you to a local wine bar for a tasting, where I’ll be delighted to share my knowledge and passion for Bordeaux wines. I hold a WSET Level 2 Award in Wines. On the afternoon, follow me through the lively Saint-Michel district, the vibrant heart of Bordeaux’s Spanish and Arab communities. We’ll then head to the bohemian Chartrons district, Bordeaux’s former wine-trading quarter, now known for its artistic and laid-back atmosphere — our very own “Montmartre”.
Discover all Bordeaux in one tour ! Morning - 3h - City center : Medieval and 18th-century area + wine tasting Lunch : restaurant where only locals go Afternoon - 3h - St Mickeal District and Chartrons district + if (time enough) Wine museum area - former Bordeaux port district
