Malgosia was a great guide and tailored our itinerary to fit exactly what we were looking for. Overall, we had a great day, learned a lot, sipped great wine, had a fabulous lunch, and bought some great bottles to ship back to the US.

Hello, My name is Malgosia. Originally from Poland, having spent 9 years in the US (New York City) I ended up in the world wine capital some 15 years ago. When I graduated from a law school in my native country never had I thought I'd completely change my career paths and become a certified sommelier with a diploma obtained from the reputable CAFA wine school in Bordeaux. Together with my husband we work in the wine industry. I am also a former wine boutique owner which was located in the heart of Bordeaux, and presently run my company "Private Wine Tours Bordeaux" which organizes private, bespoke tours in the Bordeaux region to appellations like Médoc, Saint Emilion, Pessac-Léognan, Graves, Sauternes et. al. But that's not all: I will be happy to take you to Cognac or organize a trip to the Arcachon Bay with a picnic on the famous Pyla Dune. I love sharing my passion for wine and history and meeting travelers from all over the world. The fact that I come from a very different background and did not grow up surrounded by wines gives me a better understanding of my clients, who most of the time visit Bordeaux for the first time and have very little or no knowledge of this region. I always encourage them to ask me questions during their learning process. I often notice how they become less and less intimidated and more and more open to very interesting conversations. I am one of very few independent guides in the region who work with very small, thus intimate groups (only 2-4 ppl) driving my new SUV (the required transportation license as well as professional insurance up-to-date). The presented programs are just suggestions of some of my tours. I will be happy to personalize each of them for you according to your individual wishes. Being a mom of a young boy my schedule changes sometimes. That is why I'd appreciate you contacting me in advance before booking a tour to confirm my availability. Looking forward to meeting you on one or more of my tours! certified sommelier former wine boutique owner organizing wine tours for over 8 years required transportation license up-to-date/required insurance up-to-date none

Join me to experience a place that is a symbol for quality wines and a synonym for top enology in a very cozy and friendly atmosphere. I offer my tours to very small, thus intimate groups of only up to 4 people! I will guide you throughout this trip by giving you lots of interesting information that will help you understand the region and its wines. I will take you to the place of the famous 1855 classification, driving among many beautiful estates. You will visit 2-3 wine estates from different Médoc appellations (depending on the appellation and the distance in-between as the Medoc is a very large region) from cru artisan, bourgeois or classified: discovering the history, vineyards, vat rooms, learning about the winemaking process, and of course, tasting wines! (2-3 wines) at the 1st of them and tasting wines (2-4 wines) in the second and/or third chateau. We'll also make a stop for lunch in a local restaurant.

We spent 2 full days with Malgosia (Right Bank the first day, Left Bank the second). The two tours were a wine-lover's delight. She did a tremendous job as our guide for both tours. She is very friendly and knowledgeable, providing an ongoing educational dialogue throughout the day and between chateau stops. Malgosia also was outstanding in selecting highly rated chateaus while also providing photo opportunities at other iconic and beautiful chateaus. We would recommend her to anyone seeking a beautiful wine experience in Bordeaux.
She was a wonderful and knowledgeable tour guide. She put together a really nice tour, with some big name and small family wineries to see. We really enjoyed the experience.
Her knowledge of wine was astonishing! She was friendly, personable and did an outstanding job of communicating to ensure that we had all information for the tour. Anyone wanting an in depth tour of Bordeaux wineries should consider her as their guide.
Don't hesitate to hire Malgosia and let her create a fantastic experience for you. We had very limited time constraints and she managed to get us to 4 chateau in the Medoc. She was knowledgeable, flexible, and very pleasant. She chose wonderful chateauslx and also pointed out others that we could visit in the future. We didn't have great weather (mostly rainy) but it was a great experience. We will definitely use her again when return to Bordeaux for a longer trip.
You will visit 2 wine estates from different Médoc appellations: * 1st -from cru artisan, bourgeois or GCC: discovering its history, the vineyards, vat rooms, learning about winemaking process and tasting wines (2-3 wines); * 2nd visit to a Cru Bourgeois or Grand Cru Classé: finished with wine tastings (2-4 wines). * A stop for lunch in a local restaurant (not included in the price). Please let me know if you prefer shorter stops at each estate and faster lunch and we may be able to visit 3 chateaus (thus 2nd and 3rd shorter, focused on wine tastings)
Tell your guide which places matter to you, skip what doesn't, and tailor the experience for your group's needs. Not finding what you want? Message your guide to build something unique.
I will drive you around in a modern, comfortable and air-conditioned Nissan Qashqai (2020) that can fit up to 4 passengers. Having 3 passengers in the back means little space but throughout the years I've been driving it nobody has yet complained about any discomfort.
