Private foraging and mushroom picking in autumn

The autumn time until late October is most suitable period to hike in forests and pick mushrooms! I will help you to find the funnel chanterelle mushroom, nearly the same species as chantarels. It is a 3 star mushroom and the highest ranked mushroom. These mushrooms can be picked as long as the nature is free from snow! During some autumns the last funnel chanterelles can be picked frozen in the forest. We will go to Sipoonkorpi National Park, some 30 minutes drive from Helsinki to hike and walk in the forest, have a coffee/tea break with delicious creamy mushroom sandwiches beside an official fire site. I will also tell you about the " Everyman's rights " in our forests. All you have to do is to get properly dressed with suitable hiking shoes. Our tour includes some wandering around before finding mushrooms, but you will learn how to find them!
