Overview of your Helsinki tour

Let's start our day by touring in Helsinki and visiting the Sibelius monument, the Rock Church, the Cathedral, the Senate Square and the Old Market Hall! Did you know that Medieval Porvoo received city rights around 1380? Later, in 1832 Carl Ludvig Engel designed the grid layout of the city center. The red-painted warehouses lining the shores of the river were important trading places and shipping ports! On the hilltop, the Porvoo Cathedral from 15th century hosted the visit of Alexander I in 1809 during the Russian period. Here you will admire the unique buildings, medieval narrow streets, little handicraft shops, cafés and famous restaurants. Let’s taste the Finnish delicacies by having a tasty lunch! Fascinating Loviisa (until 1752 Degerby) is a city founded in 1745, with a great past in shipbuilding and international sailing ship traffic! We will walk in the old wooden city, admire the architecture, visit at the maritime history museum and cafe in the old harbour.
