Best of Helsinki and Porvoo (with Lunch)

Good Morning from Helsinki — the White City! 🇫🇮 This full-day tour combines the best of Finland’s capital with the charm of Porvoo, the country’s second-oldest town. We’ll start by exploring Helsinki’s cultural and historical highlights, getting to know what makes Finnish society so unique. Then, we’ll head out of the city to discover the picturesque village of Porvoo, known for its cobbled streets, colorful wooden houses, and traditional Finnish atmosphere. You’ll have time to browse local craft shops, visit boutique cafés, and experience life at a slower pace. Come explore with me and experience two very different sides of Finland in one unforgettable day!

1- You'll be picked up from your Hotel/Cruise/Airport/ Train Station 2- Drive to Senate square, where we discuss the past and present of Finland. There are 3 buildings around Senate Square that we'll visit: * Helsinki Cathedral, discussion about Finns' mindset over religion. * Government palace, how come Finland's government is the least corrupted one? * Univeristy of Helsinki, Does Finland really have the best education system in the world? 3- Visit Uspenski Cathedral, the biggest Orthodex church in Western Europe 4- Market square, What do Finns usually eat or drink? (We will have a local food here for our Lunch) 5- Drive to Porvoo Village (50min, 45km) 6- Walk through the gorgeous Porvoo old town and visit the boutique shops, Candy shop, Porvoo Cathedral, the picturesque wooden buildings alongside the river, 7- Tea/Coffee break with some Ruenberg Cake (Porvoo's specialty) 8- Drive back to Helsinki and chill out in a Finnish sauna.
