Hello dear travelers, my name is Danny. I've worked about 6 years in travel agencies organizing tours around Ecuador and now I've been working for the past 7 years as a freelance guide. I have extensive knowledge guiding on the 4 different regions of Ecuador (coast, mountains, jungle, and Galapagos Islands), I believe experience is one of the best factors in tourism in order to offer the best service and reach out the goal that are the smile and welfare of my passengers. Besides being a tour guide I maintain a constant qualification in ecological and anthropological subjects. I am convinced tourism is the best way to build bridges of respect and brotherhood among cultures. I have had the opportunity to lead groups of different and varied interests all over the country. One of the hobbies that I have is the practice of hiking and trekking around my country. The geography of my country is one of the most difficult ones, because we live surrounded by mountains and volcanoes. I would really be very excited to show you the riches of one of the most biodiverse countries in America. -National Tourism Guide Degree issued by Tegnologico de Turismo y Hoteleria Internacional ITHI. Besides its amazing landscapes, Quito is known for its treasures of colonial churches, paintings, sculptures, and carvings. Ecuador's capital is an intriguing mix of old and new; centuries-old colonial buildings huddled next to garish skyscrapers. For all its contradictions, Quito is blessed with a wealth of historic architecture and museums, vibrant nightlife, a popular and convenient tourist sector, a near-perfect climate, and one of the prettiest settings of any capital in the world.
Usually, start at 08h30 from your hotel, we all head to the historic center of the capital and the sites to visit are: * Basilica of the National Vote (view from outside) * Archbishop's Palace (view from outside) * Main Square * The Cathedral (view from outside) * City Hall (view from outside) * The Government Palace (view from outside) * Metropolitan Cultural Center (visit one of its courtyards and corridors) * The Sagrario Church * The Society of Jesus Church * San Francisco Church and Plaza * Chocolate tasting * Panecillo Hill (view of the city) After this visit, we will return to the hotel. Note: Custom tours for larger groups are available. Please contact me for details.
