Mindo cloud forest + hummingbirds + butterflies

Juan Pablo is a wonderful guide. This was our second time touring with him to Mindo. We had to visit the hummingbirds again! Last time we did the butterfly and Yumbo chocolate tours, so this time we decided to take the cable car and hike to a waterfall and also a coffee tour, which was fun. Juan Pablo didn't rush us. We could spend as much time as we liked at each location. He also took us to a great restaurant where we had a delicious lunch. We highly recommend Juan Pablo for any tours from Quito.

Our tour with Juan Pablo was fantastic! He worked with us ahead of time to customize the tour for what we wanted to do. He was great at communicating with me ahead of time. We had a bit of a drive and he gave us lots of information along the way, there is no better way to visit a place than with a small group. The places he choose for us to visit were amazing. One of the best parts was where he picked for lunch. It's hard to be in a place you have never been and then choose where to eat, he nailed it. It was a great day and if we are ever back in Quito again we will be looking to Juan Pablo to help us visit again.

Our group had a fabulous time with Juan Pablo and Richard. The bird garden (and amazing hummingbirds) were definitely the highlight for the 6 of us but the butterflies, gorge basket ride and waterfall hike are also not to be missed. JP was very knowledgeable and gave us a ton of additional info on Quito, Mindo and all of the volcanoes on the trip up. We would all do it again in a second, don’t miss it!

Excellent tour and guide!

We didn't end up going to the clouds forrest due to illness. We did visit a couple of locations to see hummingbirds, which was great. Appreciate the easy ability to change the plans for the tour.

JP was terrific. His local lore, legend and historical perspective really made the experience special. Would highly recommend him for your tours in and around Quito..
