We highly recommend Gabby for a tour in Quito. We requested a combined walking tour of old Quito and tasting tour. She put together a perfect itinerary for us, which we enjoyed very much. Gabby was knowledgeable, adaptable, organized and personable. The Basilica, the Iglesia Compania (golden church), and the chocolate factory were highlights. She made the day more fun by infusing her information with “secrets” and “surprises.” After our tour, she sent us information about a concert that night at the golden church. It was a great day!

Gabriela and her excellent driver Gustavo gave us many wonderful experiences in and around Quito in our three days with them. Gabriela was very flexible to accommodate my husband's physical limitations, without sacrificing the essence of the tour. Her knowledge of history, plant and animal life, local culture and food, and the beauty of this mountainous city and region was rich. Many favorite highlights to list--Mindo and the cloud forest, hummingbirds, butterflies, orchids, the Golden Church, the market.

We had a fantastic day in Quito thanks to Gabriela. She was knowledgable and attentive and showed us everything we wanted to see. The 5* rating does not apply to toursbylocals. I had a lot of problems logging on and little help was forthcoming despite them claiming to be available 24/7.
