I enjoyed the eventful packed day so much. I am a fairly fit 67 year old woman, but the high elevation of Cotopaxi takes a toll on ones lungs. Juan Pablo was very clear about the pacing necessary to ascend successfully and l felt l couldn't have asked for a better kinder guide. I had extended my flight return to my home for one day later so that I could have. Joanne Pablo be my guide as he was busy for the other days of my stay in Quito. I had read the reviews pertaining to him and very badly wanted him to be my guide. We then cross the Andes traveling through the most beautiful Indian villagers soaring mountains green fields. It was absolutely gorgeous. When we arrived at our last lake by the visibility the visibility was very poor, but the clouds did part just enough to give a hint of the lake. I had no desire to walk down to the bottom and ride a mule back up because I was just too exhausted by then. Juan Pablo delivered me to a Quito airport at the end of the tour and I flew home late that night. Very busy full day but so very worth it. If you have the opportunity, don't hesitate to ask him to be your guide. And his English was very good so I learned a lot about Ecuador which was valuable.
