Quito is the capital of Ecuador, located at an elevation of 2, 850 metres (9, 350 ft) above sea level, it has a pleasant climate with a temperature ranging between 9 and 20 degrees Celsius. Great guide, great tour. Juan Pablo knows the area very well, has plenty of interesting information to provide, and is quite flexible. Loved the sights in the Old Town and the trip to the equator! Comfortable car for 4 adults, and Juan Pablo speaks great English. Highly recommend!! A++++
I booked two tours with Juan Pablo and I couldn't have been happier with my choice. He was knowledgeable about the history of Quito. I had no issues understanding his English. We did a lot of stair climbing and given the high altitude he was always looking out for my safety. He let me set the pace while enjoying the sites and was flexible. I enjoyed his company and would definitely tour with him again.
Juan- Pablo did an awesome job with our tour. He was responsive and developed an itinerary that met our interests. He also did prior research and was a great storyteller and connected different points of political and religious history. He also offered flexibility during the tour and was willing to pivot based on our energy level or a new interest from a previous site. His knowledge is first rate and his driving skill is admirable in a city like Quito. You cannot go wrong booking him for a tour so do book him while he’s available.
We had a lovely several hours visiting Quito Old Town. Juan Pablo worked with our schedule to meet us at our hotel after our mid day flight in. In spite of the rain and some power outages, Juan Pablo was able to arrange things on the fly and let us get the most out of our visit. The highlights were the lovely traditional dinner near one of the main squares and especially the chocolate tasting highlighting all the regions of Ecuador and ending with a sinful brownie and hot chocolate. Delicious!
Great trip with lots to see. Juan Pablo was very flexible and tailored it to things our group wanted to see. We opted to go up the teleferico which was great. Also added a chocolate tasting tour that I would highly recommend. Friendly and lots of information along the way also. Definitely recommended.
Juan Pablo was a fantastic guide! He met us at the airport, transferred us to our hotel, met us the next day for a day long Quito tour and then transferred us to the airport on the following morning at 3:15 am! Juan Pablo is prompt and reliable. His knowledge of history and culture is extensive. We felt safe when in his care and had a fabulous experience with him guiding us.
Our first stop is the Quito cable car, where we will climb an altitude of 4100 meters from the Cruz Loma area, from this point we have a spectacular view of the city of Quito. Then we visit the Church of the Basilica, neo-Gothic style, we will go up to the tower of the condors. We continue our journey and we go to the hill of Panecillo where the winged virgin is found. Quito is full of legends and we can have lunch in one restaurant related to one of the most famous legends of Quito: "Until I return, sir". Then, in the old town, we continue to the Plaza de la Independencia in the streets of the colonial zone, surrounded by the Cathedral, the Presidential Palace, the Municipality and the Archbishop's Palace. We will visit the Church of the Company of Jesus and its wonderful golden interior. Back to the hotel.

The car is modern, very confortable, with Air Conditioned Suzuki SZ, SUV, 2011. For 3 people comfortable. (maximum 4 a bit tight).
