Join us to see the highlights of Centro Historico such as La Plaza de la Independencia, La Iglesia de San Francisco and the impressive Basilica de Voto Nacional towers . During this time on this tour you will learn of Quito history as well as taking in the sights and sounds of daily Ecuadorian life. If you visit this tour with me I will tell you some secrets that are not so visible and not overlooked, especially The Church Compañia de Jesús, many of the tourists who have traveled are amazed at the Quito art that our churches have. My partner and I had an amazing time with Gaby and Gustavo! We ended up requesting a late start a few days before the tour because of a late flight the day before and Gaby was super accommodating. She is super knowledgeable and passionate about Quito and that really shown thrown. We weren’t very well prepared and let Gaby lead the way and deferred to her decision making which worked out very well. I would highly recommend! Quito is such an interesting place!
She took me to special places and put everything in context. AND helped me change hotel as I had made a bad choice. She was great.
We had a very nice time with Gaby. She showed us a good number of the sites around Quito and took us to the equator.
My friends and I had a long layover in Quito and we thought a tour of the city would be a good way to spend the day. We were very lucky to book a tour with Gabriella! She was friendly, knowledgeable and just a pleasure to be with. She showed us all the highlights and then some. I would recommend her tour to anyone interested is seeing Quito and learning about its history and culture.
This was a good tour and we enjoyed seeing the highlights of Quito. We were very lucky to have great weather and as a result great views. Enjoyed very much the churches and the Mary with wings on top of the hill. Gaby was very pleasant and was especially knowledgeable about the golden church.
I booked a tour for my wife, adult daughter and myself. We had a great time. Gabriela (and her driver) was exceptional. She was extremely nice and very flexible with us. We essentially directed the tour to our liking. She is a true local, often referring to Quito as "my city". She is also a good photographer and knew the perfect locations of where to take pictures at each site. She really watched out for us the whole day.
-Pick up at your hotel This fantastic tour begins with great view of my city in Panecillo Hill , continuing with the tour we visit a local market where you can taste completely new fruits from our country for you. Then we are going to visit the historic center of Quito, as the first point Basilica of the National Vow church towers , independence square, Metropolitan Cathedral, the Archbishop taste a local sweet, Municipal and Government Palace. We go to La Compañía de Jesús, the highest representative of Baroque art in Latin América also know the golden church I worked there as a guide one year and I know all the secrets not only in this church many sides hiddding in my city that I can tell you and finally San Francisco church with the first brewery in Ecuador. We visit the 'Middle of the World', realizing that you are at Latitude 0'0'0. This is the point where you can straddle the equator and stand with one foot in the Southern hemisphere and the other in the North. -Drop Off in your hotel
