Full day in Quito city and Middle of the World Private Tour

This is a tour planned to show you the first city declared world heritage by UNESCO. This tour will be a combination of the country's history, art, myths, symbolism and architecture while we will visit the old colonial town of Quito and the Equator line in the middle of the world. A cultural / historical tour that will show the city from the Inca time to the republic, after the independence of Quito. We will visit one of the viewpoints of the city and the most representative churches of the city. This tour takes us to the old colonial town where we will travel to a time in which people used to meet around plazas and walk through narrow streets. We will start picking you up at your hotel and will visit one of the natural viewpoints of the city from where we will admire Colonial Quito from a privileged point: Panecillo with the winged virgin, Itchimbia hill or the towers of Basilica Church. We will continue after to the Historical Center of Quito where we will admire the colonial architecture of old Quito with its churches, plazas and houses. We will walk around Plaza Grande (Independence square), the Jesuit church "La Compañia'', one of the oldest neighborhoods of old Quito "La Ronda" and Plaza San Francisco and its Church. (visits will be done according to time available and interest of the clients). Next we will have a traditional Ecuadorian lunch or snacks (picnic available extra cost) and will continue to the Equator line and the Intiñam museum (path of the sun) located in the latitude 0°00'00.
