Mindo is a town between the mountains and the Ecuadorian coast, but has the soul of the Amazon. We can say that it brings together things from the three regions of Ecuador. Two hours from Quito, with a hot and humid climate and an overflowing nature. It is famous for its cloud forest and bird watching of many species, which attracts tourists from all over the world, it also has adventure activities of all kinds.
Wow...what a day it was, lot of driving, lots of corners, lots of things to do and see. Loved the hummingbirds and chocolate factory. Gabby and Gustavo were great looking after us with everything. Highly recommend this tour if you have a day to spare in Quito.

Super fun, such a beautiful part of the world and Gabi is an outstanding guide for it. Knows where to go, super personable and even let me practice my terrible Spanish with her a bit :). So many amazing places, had a ton of fun, a place to see and a tour take at least once in your life.

Gabriela was a great guide! She was able to answer our questions and took us to all the spots we needed to see in the Cloud Forest. We had just returned from the Galapagos so it was helpful for us to go to a lower elevation and to have a day that was mostly in the car with short experiences. Gabriela was sure to cater to the tour to our needs and gave us options for what we wanted to do. Our driver, Jonathan, was excellent as well. Very comfortable tour and a great experience overall.
We booked the Mindo tour with Gabriela and enjoyed it very much. Although we love nature, we're not naturalists, hikers, or birders, yet she was able to customize our experience to our interests and abilities, and I think that was the best part of the tour.

If you like birds this place you will love it ! - Continuing with the tour we are going to stop at Butterfly farm with diferent sizes and colors, you should not miss when you are in Mindo. -Lunch at local restaurant - if you like chocolat we go to fantastic Chocolate tour . - Orchid garden . tour On the Waterfalls Tour there are two options, it is the short walk 45 minutes. It is recommended that you can book your tour at 7:30 am to 8:30 am in the morning, but if you want the long hike that is 2 hours hike And you can see all The watefalls donw hill And Up Hill to 2 hours, it is important that you book your tour at 7 am in the morning. -Drop off Hotel In this tour most of the places we are going to visit you need cash $15.00 per person.
