Hi or as locals say: Adio! Dobrodošli or Welcome to Dubrovnik region! My name is Goran. Born and raised in Croatia, I do live in the Dubrovnik region, and I love it! I have been working in tourism/sales-related services for nearly 20 years, as well as a guide and a tour leader. For a couple of years, I have worked for a big cruise line company in the hotel department. After I settled back here in Dubrovnik, I started to work as a trip leader, cruise manager and as a local guide on my own as well, cooperating with different tour operators and agencies. Being able to travel and being thankful for that, I was able to explore, "taste", feel and discover many different places nearby and around the world. Furthermore, I studied at the university here in Dubrovnik and obtained a degree in tourism/management back in 2004. My goal is to provide you with an experience, not just a product of the destination, in a professional, educational, interesting and always friendly and casual way. I am aware that every person, together with every experience of any kind, is always a new one and different. To all my fellow travellers, I want to allow you to experience real places and local people. There is no better way to have a great, authentic and inspirational travel experience than to see, touch, hear, taste and feel the places you are visiting. Regardless of the offered tour experiences, feel free to let me know if you would like to do something additional or different. With knowledge and experience, I could customise a daily trip or a few days of tour experience just for you! If you would like to spend some time together, please feel free to contact me. One of the nicest compliments that I recall from one of the guests is that having a tour experience with me was like being with an old friend. Thanks, Mark! "If we were meant to stay in one place, we would have roots instead of feet"! - University degree in Tourism / Management - Local Tourist Guide License for Dubrovnik and Split County - member of the Dubrovnik Tourist Guide Association No restrictions.

Great way to see old remote villages and enjoy stunning views, drive above the Adriatic road. With great views, we will reach the Peljesac peninsula and the town of Ston. I will show you one of the largest oyster and mussel farms in the Adriatic. If you are a seafood lover like I am, this is a great opportunity to try some of the freshest products. Experience the tranquillity of the small town of Ston, around 30 miles away from Dubrovnik, where I will share about the great Ston walls. For hundreds of years, locals have been producing the salt there, and the remains of still active saltworks are there to be visited. Seeing Ston and visiting saltworks, I will introduce you to the local life at present as well as the history of the area. During free time for exploration, you may decide to conquer the walls as well! A great way to spend a day in the vicinity of Dubrovnik and explore it through the eyes of a local!
- We will drive towards the north-western part of Dubrovnik county along the Adriatic road. - Our journey continues above the Adriatic road with a view of the remote villages and Adriatic coastline. A stop for a photo opportunity. - Passing by the oyster and mussel farms, we will come to the small town of Ston. - An opportunity to taste the freshest oysters and mussels in the Adriatic. Needless to say, the Ston walls are considered to be one of the longest original wall fortifications in Europe, renovated and open for visitors. We will have a tour around the town with an opportunity to walk the walls on your own later on. Just across the town of Ston, there are still operating hundred-year-old saltworks where we will get acquainted with their history. Free time to explore Ston on your own and enjoy the typical atmosphere of the small town. This itinerary is a suggested one, and I can customise it upon request.
