Valparaíso & Viña del Mar Full-Day Tour

My family of four had an incredible experience of both Santiago and the nearby coast with Roberto on two separate tours (Santiago Unveiled and Valparaíso & Viña Del Mar). First off, Roberto & our driver Richard were punctual and dependable, waiting at the door of our Airbnb before we stepped out each morning. Roberto's charm and caring, upbeat personality made us feel like family, and we were so grateful to have scheduled a second day of tours with him. To give perspective, we're a family of somewhat-introverted engineers, but sharing our lunches with Roberto felt like catching up with an old friend. Since we were at the end of a three week trip, all of us were wiped out (and fighting a cold), but Roberto's enthusiasm and understanding of our pace helped us rally for the last few days. He took so many great family photos of us around Valparaíso and at the top of the Gran Torre Costanera with the arrebol — the reddish tint of the clouds at sunset. We feel so blessed to be guided through Santiago by Roberto and hope to do another tour with him (maybe Patagonia!) if we return to Chile.

This was a totally amazing tour. Roberto is a top-notch guide. His communication and information before the tour was first-rate. He is a wonderful guide who provided great information, and he is so personable. The tour itself was just incredible. Zapallar is beautiful, and the penguin island is just amazing. We had the best time. I can not recommend this tour and Roberto enough.

We booked Roberto for a day trip from Santiago to Valparaiso and Vina Del Mar. Roberto and driver Ricardo, were fantastic to tour with. Roberto is a very personable and knowledgeable guide. As English speakers, we appreciated Robertos perfect English and his depth of knowledge on the history of Valparaiso. After seeing sights of interest from high above Valparaiso, Roberto then took us on a fascinating walk through the maze of streets comprised of rich historical buildings, brightly colored murals and beautiful shops and restaurants. Around every corner we enjoyed graphic beauty. Roberto changed up the tour slightly as we wanted to spend a bit more time in Valparaiso and then just get an overview of Vina Del Mar. We were able to go into an old mansion that had been converted into a warm welcoming hotel with stunning rooftop views. We highly recommend Roberto for any of his tours.

Look no further! Doing a day trip with Roberto to see Viña del Mar and Valparaiso was phenomenal. Roberto was so engaging, shared a lot of information about both cities and curated an enjoyable day for three adults an an infant. You won't be disappointed spending the day with Roberto.

We spent a fun day with Roberto in Valparaiso. He was knowledgeable about the town and gave us an interesting tour incorporating history, art and culture. we enjoyed our lunch with him in a local restaurant. We even found a fun piece of art to remember our day. Highly recommend !

Roberto was an excellent guide. He picked us up at our hotel in the morning. We went to an off the beaten path artist village that specializes in pottery. We poked into some of the shops. Roberto even got us a demonstration on how they make some of the pots. It was very fun. Next, we went to the coast and walked along the water. After that, Roberto and the driver dropped us off at our cruise ship and helped us get our luggage all set. Overall, it was a wonderful day.
